Ileana was born in Farnborough, Kent and now lives in the lovely Georgian town of Stamford, Lincolnshire with her husband and son. She works from her home studio at her much-loved drawing board, which is liberally sprinkled with tubes of acrylic paint, brushes and works in progress.

Ileana studied fashion and textile design at Northampton University and has worked in many creative roles, from the wardrobe department of Richmond Theatre in London through to fashion illustration and costume design. Her love for drawing and painting led her towards the greeting card industry where she enjoys developing and experimenting with her painterly style, creating colourful patterns for religious artworks, cute whimsical characters and stylised scenes.

Ileana has a passion for art, fashion, theatre, yoga, Harry Potter, fine chocolate and (lots of) tea.
